Dear Rock Creek Families and Community,
I want to make you aware of a social media post circulating on TikTok involving references to our school and the “Cat in the Hat.” We are aware of the post and are taking the situation seriously.
Our administration has been reviewing the information available to us and is working with the appropriate individuals and authorities as necessary. At this time, our priority remains the safety and security of our students and staff.
We understand that posts of this nature can create concern, particularly when they involve a school. We ask our community to please avoid sharing or reposting the content, as doing so can unnecessarily increase fear, spread misinformation, and make it more difficult to determine the original source and intent of the post.
Please know that we will always take potential threats or concerning statements involving our school seriously. We will continue to monitor the situation and will communicate additional information if there are developments that our families need to know.
As always, if you or your child becomes aware of concerning information involving our school, please report it directly to a school administrator or law enforcement rather than sharing it on social media.
